Summer 1989: Project assistant in Corporate Planning Department of Wisconsin Electric Power
Company. Worked on two projects: DC Electric Arc Furnace Technology and the effects
of DC arc furnaces on electric supply system. Optimum reactive power allocation
studies in WE power system.
Aug. 1984-May 1986: Teaching Fellow (full time faculty member) at UMR. Taught courses in
electrical power systems and electric circuits.
Apr. 1979-Nov. 1979: Planning Engineer at the Transmission and Distribution Division of the
Turkish Electricity Authority, Ankara, TURKEY. Responsibilities included power system
planning and expansion studies for Turkish electrical system.
