Research: Cross Column Pull Out

I've been really busy lately doing research. I've written two articles on the one subject, but until they are posted on A List Apart, I will not discuss them in detail. I will describe the effect though.

Printed media (newspapers) have been able to design with multiple columns and have an image floated in between the columns, while text flows around the image. In the web world that has not been possible... until Matt Latzke and I took a trip to Green Bay, WI and figured it out on the road trip!

I'm hoping that people will find a good use for this discovery. The interesting thing is that this is not possible unless people use CSS and Web Standards. Yea for Web Standards!

Speaking again

I'll be heading to the CASE V conference this weekend to speak on Web Standards. I think this will make my 16th time speaking on this topic. Whoa. That's a lot!
