It Wasn't a Dream

It's been very hectic lately, both at work and home. With all of the running around, I haven't had the opportunity to sit. I got home last night to a few messages on my answering machine.

Dan, this is Karen from the Knights of Columbus. We have your trip all ready to go, and your departure date for Orlando will be February 10, 2005.

It wasn't a dream! Somehow I had forgotten all about the trip that I won. Wow!

I then went to get my mail and found that my deliver of the latest Gaelic Storm album had arrived! Whoa! This is starting to be a great evening! Of course the rest of the mail was bills, but you can't win everything.

Caddyshack: Revisited

I'm happy to report that my wonderful wife Nekole did catch the woodchuck (groundhog, and also known as whistle-pig?) a week back. It was a live trap, so we drove it out into the country and released it.

The next day, I saw the critter was back. How? We drove it about 10 miles outside of town. So we set the trap again, and caught it. After a closer inspection, we realized that we had a family starting in our garage.

The first one was female because of size comparison and lack of anger that the second one had. Either way, both of them were dropped off in the same area not more than 16 hours apart, so hopefully they can find some elbow room in the country and stay out of my garage!
