Upgrade complete!!

I am very happy to announce that we have opened the PASS CS9.0 system to all end users!

Congrats to everyone involved. Thank you so much for all your work! YEEEEEAH!!!

Almost ready for go-live

We have the 9.0 system up and running. End-users are in this morning doing setup. We will hopefully start letting functional areas in starting 8am tomorrow!

Here we go!

Locked and loaded.... shutting down the 8.9 system in about an hour. We will let all the normal backup and nightly processes run tonight and start early on Saturday. If all goes well, we should be ready to open it up by Thursday.

Only 4 days left!

Wow... So close to the end. I am very anxious to get this started! I think we are pretty much ready to go. A few last second tweeks to things, then we are ready to pull the switch!

7 working days until go-live

The final admin team meeting before go-live is today. Its pretty exciting to think that we are *almost* done! Two weeks from now we should hopefully be up and running with the new system.

14 working days

Only 14 working days remaining before go-live. I am feeling pretty good that we will have everything ready to go on July 17th. I have a few "minor" things to figure out, but they should be handled in a week or so. Its enough to make sure I'm not bored :)

19 more work days!

Its coming down to the end of the upgrade. We will still have to handle account maintenance and a few other loose ends, but if this week's dress rehearsal goes well, I will feel MUCH better about being able to actually pull this off!

Its in the details now. I am going through lists and trying to make sure I haven't forgotten to notify anyone or about a stray process out there that will break when the servers move.
