Looking better
I've been working with the good folks at Oracle global support and things are looking up! I just received a new fix to apply that should take care of things. I'll take a shot at it on Monday and see what we get.

I am working through applying the bundles and hit an error with one of the scripts. It looks like the bundle is expecting us to be on a different PTools release. This could get ugly.....
The CS9.0 upgrade is coming along nicely, although the process is much longer than originally expected. So far, we have recreated a blank "demo" instance of our 8.9 system and a new 9.0 demo instance. We use both of those databases as part of the upgrade of the production system.

Oracle delayed the release of bundle 18. It is needed for production on Feb 1st, so it could be an interesting situation....
We finally have our two demo instances patched and ready to roll on Monday. We will begin our initial pass and hope to have our first test move to production ready for end-user testing in the next 6 weeks.
We had our consultant start this week and we began our 9.0 upgrade. My brain hurts. We covered a lot of new material in a short amount of time. I easily learned more in three days than I have in any week long classes I've been to.
I finally have the new Oracle server up and running. I did a test import and am floored by how fast it is. A process that took over 9 hours on my test server was completed in just over 2 hours on the new box!
