The Women's Center serves as UW-Platteville's central contact for resources and support for women on campus. The Women's Center is an advocacy and educational resource center, offering a supportive and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and staff. The center seeks to honor the contributions and experiences of women of all ages, physical conditions, sexual identities, spiritual beliefs, and ethnic origins. 

What We Provide

  • Information on women and gender issues, including books, magazines, videos, and journals
  • Programs and speakers on topics such as women's issues, health, safety, GLBTQ topics, and more
  • Resources for faculty and staff on gender related issues that can be used in curriculum or for students' research
  • Programming support for the women's studies department, Women in Engineering Program, Health Services, Students with Disabilities, Residence Life, and diversity groups across campus
  • Advocacy for equitable situations and networking assistance
  • Joint programming with women's studies, ethnic studies, and social sciences

Everyone is encouraged to drop in for educational resources or just a friendly place to relax and study.
