The program is designed to introduce girls to a variety of fun, hands-on activities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Girls will get to take part in a variety of activities ranging from creating a cart to protect an egg in a crash to making homemade ice cream in ziploc bags. There will also be fun evening activities for the girls to take part in. Girls will get the opportunity to tour the UW-Platteville campus and eat a meal in the campus dining hall.
The program is open to girls in grades 7-12 who want to have fun while taking part in activities related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis with an enrollment limit of 36 students. Confirmation letters will be sent to students along with necessary forms and information.

The fee for each student is $80 and includes housing, Friday dinner, three meals on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, three snacks, and all program materials. Fees for the program must be received three weeks before the program date, by March 28, 2008. Program cancellations three weeks before the program date will be refunded, however, cancellations that occur three weeks (or less) before the program will not be refunded. Participants who register for the program, but do not cancel their registration at least three weeks before the program will be responsible for the $80 registration fee.
