The program is designed to provide the participants and their guest(s) information about the engineering profession. Participants can expect engaging presentations and activities from UW-Platteville students and faculty as well as the opportunity to get to know other students who are also interested in learning more about engineering. The program is designed to answer questions about UW-Platteville, engineering, and the college experience.
The program is intended for young women in grades 8 - 12 who express an interest in learning more about pursuing an engineering degree. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with an enrollment limit of 150 students. Registrations and fees are returned if the enrollment limit has been exceeded. Confirmation letters or e-mails will be sent to participants along with driving directions and/or maps.

The fee for each student is $15 and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, a gift, and all program materials. Chaperones may attend and participate in all program events at no cost, but must pre-register. Fees for the program must be received two weeks before the program date. Program cancellations two weeks before the program date will be refunded, however, cancellations that occur two weeks (or less) before the program will not be refunded. Participants who register for the program, but do not cancel their registration at least two weeks before the program will be responsible for the $15 registration fee.
Registration forms may be accessed by choosing Student Application or Chaperone Application on this page. Both students and chaperones must register. Participants may opt to register online or to print out the form and send it via postal mail with the registration fee. One registration form must be provided for each person. It is important that you completely fill out the registration form and that you indicate the type of confirmation (e-mail or postal mail) and where the confirmation should be sent.
