The purpose of this site is to help people learn how to make web pages by programming in HTML, or web programming. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a series of tags that will format text and pictures and display them for a variety of computers. It also uses links (called anchors) to connect pages together.

Each section of the main page of the Web Training Center is geared toward a section of web development.

• Basic HTML covers the basics of understanding the tags.
• Advanced HTML covers the more difficult topics such as frames and tables.
• HTML Editors shows you the easy way to develop web pages (it's helpful to understand Learning HTML before you enter the editor world.)
• Extra Web Stuff includes a lot of the fun things that you see on web pages.
• Web Page Improvement has helpful tips and links to keep your site up to date.
• Odds and Ends just sort of sums up everything else that did not fit anywhere else.

Please have a little patience! Whenever you learn something new, you will have lots of trial and error. Eventually you will understand how simple it is to do web development and start it other new areas of the web!
