Much more functionality can be accomplished with forms using JavaScript, because you have the ability to manipulate data before it is emailed (or printed). You can set variables, do computations, and make alert boxes to boost functionality.

Here are a few examples of using JavaScript with HTML forms. For more information on creating forms, refer to the T-Mail Forms section of the Web Training Center.

• Radio Buttons - Using JavaScript to determine the result of a radio button form.
• Checkbox - JavaScript counts the values of the checked fields, and then displays them in a message box.
• Select - Displaying the value of a simple select form.
• Multiple Select - Determining the values and total on a multiple select form.
