Website Transition Project Update
The timeline for the website transition project is posted at http://www3.uwplatt.edu/web-news/website-transition-project-timeline. In short, the designated pilot programs are to be completed by the beginning of the second semester. The 14-member committee will then be gathering feedback on design, navigation, etc. During that time, a new homepage and subsequent hub pages also will be completed and be rolled out after spring break.
Once feedback is completed, and any necessary changes are made, content will be migrated from the old site or created on the new site. A schedule is being developed for those moves, so not every department will have to be moved at once. For departments wishing to begin their preparation for the move to the new website, a checklist has been established at http://www3.uwplatt.edu/web/content-stewards-checklist.
