hello, Ciao, hola, guten tag, shalom, Ni hao, Bonjour, God dag, Al salaam a'alaykum, konnichiwa.

The intent of Café International is to bring together and help bridge the gap between American and international students, faculty, and staff. The entire UW-Platteville community is encouraged to attend and enjoy the cultural conversation and light refreshments.

Each week, students, staff, and members of the community give short presentations about their national heritage, followed by a discussion period during which participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage in dialogue. Presentations in the past have included stories and experiences from Brazil, Thailand, Cambodia, the Netherlands, Greece, Central West Africa, and more!

Take a look at our new Café International Fall Newsletter.

If you wish to present at Café International, please contact the Writing Center at 608.342.1615.
