What is Student Support Services?
Student Support Services is a federally funded program. They are funded by the U.S. Department of Education and provide academic and personal support services to help our participants become successful college graduates. Available services include tutoring, advising and workshops.
Who is Eligible?
Students must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria to qualify for our FREE services:
- Be a first-generation college student (neither parent currently has a four-year college degree)
- Be an income-eligible student (based on taxable income level)
- Be a student with a documented disability

Math ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTERS
Math Learning Center - 360 Gardner Hall
The Mathematics Learning Center (MLC) is staffed by students who can offer free, drop-in help with 1000 and 2000 level math courses and math based science courses.
Monday - Thursday - 8:00am - 7:00pm
Fridays - 8:00am - 2:00pm
Sunday (Otts 170) - 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Algebra Skills Center (ASC) - third floor West Brigham Hall
Instructors and PALs provide assistance to students taking Elementary and Intermediate Algebra. The ASC offers free individual tutoring, computer lab with software to improve skills, and alternative and make-up testing services. Every class lesson is available for study on DVD.
