Art Resources and Opportunities
The Art Program at UW-Platteville provides students with many art opportunities including working with accomplished artists, participation in art clubs, attending art events, joining professional art organizations, community arts engagement, and providing art instruction.
Guest artists from a wide variety of art disciplines lecture and perform workshops throughout each academic year. Past guests include: Jobe Cerny, Mobile Type, Peter Fraterdeus, Art Shegonee.
Ceramics Club, Graphic Design Club, and Stitcher’s Coven Fiber Arts Club are three opportunities that help build community between art students and provide opportunities to display, promote, and sell works of art.

Community Arts Engagement
The Pioneer Academic Center for Community Engagement (PACCE) is where students, community partners, and faculty experience, grow, and make a difference by working on real community art projects. Financial support is available to defray costs of supplies and travel.
Art Education Teaching Events
Art Education majors travel to schools, universities and organizations to partner on unique art education teaching opportunities including the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, UW-Platteville Children’s Center, and Mineral Point School District.
