Purpose and Duties:
- Represents appropriate constituencies individually and as a group.
- Acts as liaison between the Senate and constituent groups, other governance bodies, and University and System administration.
Composition of Senate:
- Seven (7) members, four members(three from service areas and one at-large) elected in even-numbered years and three members (two from services areas and one at-large) elected in odd-numbered years with no more than two representatives from any one area, for two year terms, servicing no more than two consecutive terms.
