Student Discipline Appeal Tribunal

Purpose and Duties

1. Considers student appeals of decisions rendered by the Faculty-Student Discipline Committee.
2. Submits, as a recommendation to the Chancellor, a decision concerning the appeal.
3. An Appeal Tribunal will be created by the Faculty Senate upon appeal to the Secretary of the Faculty Senate by a defendant in an action of the Student Discipline Committee.

Composition of Tribunal

• Three (3) faculty members, none of whom may be on the Student Discipline Committee.
• Two (2) student members, none of whom may be on the Student Discipline Committee.
