Student Organizations Committee (Committee of Student Senate)

Committee Structure, Functions and Duties

1. Receives requests for recognition of new student organizations and forwards recommendations to the Student Senate and Faculty Senate.
2. Reviews changes in student organizations' constitutions as these become necessary.
3. Periodically reviews the status of student organizations and their respective constitutions. In cooperation with the Student Senate, deals with irregularities by withdrawal of recognition when University regulations and organization constitutions are violated.
