The Department of Media Technology Services supports the teaching and learning activities of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville by providing a quality product to its students, faculty, and staff.
We do this by:
Providing leadership and planning to make the best use of new technologies
Providing students and faculty with quality technology-enhanced classrooms, distance learning systems, and teaching tools
Designing, implementing, and maintaining the equipment needed to support the diverse activities of the campus community
Assisting in the creation of instructional and promotional materials
Providing additional educational opportunities through the use of the campus educational access channel, satellite downlink facilities, and television studio
Continuously striving to improve our services, facilities, and staff skills
Expected Outcomes
Media Technology Services will:
Provide faculty, staff, and students with access to new forms of educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
Increase awareness of educational technology available
Assessment Tools:
Survey of faculty and staff for frequency of equipment use and easy of use of room technology
Suggestions from phone calls and online comments
