Biography

Sarah Strange is a recent graduate of the MFA Costume Design program at University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Bachelor of Science in theatre design and technology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. For UW-Platteville, Sarah has designed the costumes for Tartuffe, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Ghosts, The Normal Heart, 'night Mother, and Godspell. Other costume design credits include Cloud 9, The Cradle Will Rock, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Bat Boy, You Can’t Take it With You, Twelfth Night, Assassins!, Intimate Apparel, Ruthless!, The Secretaries, Mary’s Wedding, Road to Mecca, Fugitive Songs, Polaroid Stories, and Katatonika (2009 Prague International Fringe Festival). She designed the costumes for the 2013 Heartland Festival productions of Nunsense and Fiddler on the Roof and will design the costumes for Shrek the Musical for the 2014 Heartland Festival.
