Purpose of SWAL
The Southwest Wisconsin Association of Libraries (SWAL) is a professional organization of libraries, librarians, media specialists, library support staff, library board members, library retirees and trustees, and Friends of the libraries in the southwest Wisconsin counties of Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland.
The purpose of SWAL is to promote cooperative efforts to improve total library service in Southwest Wisconsin. It is the linking force for librarians, library staff, trustees, and friends from all types of libraries in the region to participate in sharing resources and expertise.
SWAL appreciates the interest and participation of all its members. Success depends on "Members Helping Members."
