The Gilman Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 to U.S. citizen undergraduates from two-and four- year institutions. It aims to support students who have been traditionally underrepresented in study abroad. Must receive a Federal Pell Grant to be eligible.

The National Security Education Program (NSEP) is a unique scholarship opportunity for U.S. undergraduates wishing to study abroad. NSEP awards scholarships to American students for study of world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East). The objective of this scholarship program emphasizes a summer learning and working experience for an undergraduate student to learn more about agricultural sciences and agricultural education through international agricultural programs. It also provides an opportunity for students to live and learn with students of another culture and language. The scholarship is made possible by a gift from the Lewis B. Nelson Fund to the Agronomic Science Foundation and administered by the American Society of Agronomy. The scholarship is in the amount of $2500.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, accepted to a study abroad program with an international business focus that is eligible for credit at the student's home university. Preference is given to students with financial need, going on programs that emphasize cultural immersion, and displaying accomplishments that indicate leadership, character, integrity and motivation . Applications are due in February for summer and fall programs or in September for spring programs.
Silver or Gold Award Girl Scouts who are full-time undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible for this travel grant. If awarded, you will receive up to $1000 toward the cost of your airline ticket to study abroad. Applications for Summer, Fall, or Academic Year will be accepted between March 15 and May 15. To be eligible to apply you must have been offered a study abroad or exchange place at a UK university which is BUTEX affiliated. Your study abroad or exchange place must be for a minimum of one semester. Scholarships will be paid to the winners once they have arrived and registered at their host university.
