What is it?

ISIC is the only internationally accepted student ID card and proof of current student status in existence.

Why do I need it?

UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and other governmental organizations recognize the ISIC card as a unique document that is the official internationally recognized proof of student status.

Why ISIC?

UW-Platteville Study Abroad has chosen to provide each of our study abroad students specifically with the ISIC card because of its international recognition. Approximately 5 million ISIC cards are issued annually in over 100 countries.

When your passport is not necessary, your ISIC card will serve as your main form of ID. It's primary purpose is to prove student status. The ISIC card also has a wide variety of great benefits and discounts.
