The Information Center is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center, and serves as a clearinghouse for information on UW-Platteville, and the events and activities happening on campus.
Additional services available at the Information Center include faxes, copies, lamination, binding, books of stamps, visitor parking permits, Markee Pioneer Student Center posting approval, Markee Pioneer Student Center Lost and Found and check cashing.

The Information Center will cash personal checks up to $60.00 with a $.25 check-cashing fee. One check per day may be cashed for $60.25 for UW-Platteville students, faculty and staff only.
The Information Center will cash UW-Platteville payroll checks up to $60.00 with a $.25 cashing fee for a total of $60.25.
Students may cash checks form their parents or grandparents up to $60.00 with a $.25 cashing fee for a total of $60.25.
Checks found with insufficient funds will be assessed at a rate established by the Markee Pioneer Student Center administration. If a check is returned, a service charge is assessed and must be paid immediately. After a third check is returned, check cashing privileges are permanently denied. Afterany returned check, all university records are put on hold until the check fees are satisfied.
Copy ServicesThe Information Center offers a variety of photocopying services as well as laminating, binding and faxing. University Departments, Organizations and Recognized Student Organizations may request charge accounts with the Information Center for our copy services. Conference groups who wish to use the service should make arrangements in advance with the Event Planning and Reservation office.
Markee Pioneer Student Center Lost and FoundMissing something? The Information Center is the place to go for items lost or found in the Markee Pioneer Student Center. We maintain a list of items found at the Markee Pioneer Student Center as well as items lost by individuals. Our Lost and Found items are kept for one semester after the semester they were found, so be sure to check back often.

The Information Center sells stamps in books of 10. Please check at the Information Center for current prices. We also serve as an on campus and off campus mail drop point. Mail is collected around 2pm Monday through Friday for delivery to the Platteville Post office for same day processing. Mail dropped off on the weekends is picked up Monday afternoon.

Visitor Parking PermitsOne day visitor permits may be purchased at the Information Center in the Markee Pioneer Student Center. Vistor permits may also be purchased through the University Police Department or at the Box Office in Ullsvik Hall.
Visitor permits cost $2.00 per day.
