Boxes and Walls
Residence Life is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh "Boxes and Walls" project. "Boxes and Walls" is specifically designed to promote creation of inclusive and welcoming environments for all residence hall students. The museum will be open Feb. 3-5 from 6–9 p.m.
This year's Boxes and Walls will display information regarding the following topics: immigration, family heritage, micro/macro and institutional aggression, shutting out education, social justice, socio-economics, religious persecution, disabilities, hate language, racist and sexist graffiti, derogatory terms, social media and bullying, body image, women’s and men’s issues, transgender and LGBT issues, marriage equality, things well intended people say, urban vs. rural, along with oppression of races. The tour will take around an hour to complete but participants are welcome to stay as long as they like.
