The STEM Scholars program is a five-year program funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) starting in Fall 2010. The program annually awards 10 renewable scholarships to incoming freshmen or transfer students of approximately $3,800, increasing the group to 40 students in years four and five. Eligible students must select a major offered in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science, demonstrate academic excellence and show financial need. This program crosses STEM disciplines within the College of EMS by building a strong network through various group activities.
FAFSA reports are due on March 15, 2012. All other materials must be sent and received at the Financial Aid Office by March 15, 2012
The First Year Experience Office is currently looking to hire SAS (Student Academic Success) presenters for Fall 2012! SAS presenters are responsible for giving on-campus presentations to other students on academic topics such as Understanding PASS & D2L, Stress & Relaxation, Study Skills & Time Management, and Registration.
