What is the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholars Program?

The STEM Scholars program is a five-year program funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) starting in Fall 2010. The program annually awards 10 renewable scholarships to incoming freshmen or transfer students of approximately $3,800, increasing the group to 40 students in years four and five. Eligible students must select a major offered in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science, demonstrate academic excellence and show financial need. This program crosses STEM disciplines within the College of EMS by building a strong network through various group activities.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2013. Materials must be postmarked March 15, 2013.

FAFSA reports are due on March 15, 2013. All other materials must be postmarked March 15, 2013 and sent to the Financial Aid Office.
