| Purpose: | The purpose of the UWP Grant Proposal Writing Fund is to promote the writing and submission of federal or national grants. Awards of up to $3,500.00 will be provided. These monies can be used for salary, travel to the sponsoring agency/organization, backfill to support release time, or other grant writing expenses. The grant proposals, written in the format (or forms) required by the sponsoring agency/organization, are to be submitted prior to December 31, 2010 to the Vice Chancellor through the Office of Sponsored Programs. |
| Eligibility: | Current faculty and full-time academic staff members who are employed by UW-P in 2009/10 are eligible to apply. |
| Selection Criteria: | Priority will be given to writing federal or national grant proposals that would have a university-wide impact.Other proposals will be considered that have a college or department impact. |
| Process: | For assistance in locating grant funding opportunities contact the Office of Sponsored Programs. The 2010 Grant Proposal Writing request is to be submitted to the College Dean no later than October 26, 2009. The Dean will review the college proposals, rank them according to the selection criteria, and submit them to the Vice Chancellor no later than October 30, 2009. Funding decisions will be made no later than November 6, 2009. |
