We are pleased to inform you about availability of additional funds for Faculty Professional Development for professional training or travel for the fiscal year 2009-2010, ending in June 30, 2010. Professional development to be funded from this source includes conference paper presentation/attendance and off-campus training provided by recognized associations/institutions in your discipline or area.
The Faculty Professional Development Committee will now consider proposals covering the time period from April 1, 2010 to May 30, 2010. The maximum award shall not exceed $700.00 per this funding cycle and priority will be given to those applicants who have not received any prior professional development funds and will be involved in active participation in their professional development request activity.
Applications are due by March 29, 2010 (No Exceptions). Announcements of the awards will be made on or before April 9, 2010.

Committee ChairThe next cycle of funding will begin in April 2010 with a call for proposals for professional development activities conducted from June 1, 2010 - June 4, 2010. The awards will be announced in May 2010.
