Fringe Benefits
Listed below are the fringe benefit rates to be used by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville
in charging extramural funds for the employer's contribution to fringe benefits
during the
2006-07 fiscal year and 2007-08 fiscal year:

| Research Associates, Graduate Assistants & Interns | 34.00% |
| Ad Hoc Specialists and Undergraduate Assistants | 7.65% |
| Student Hourly | 2.50% |
These rates include the employer's contribution to retirement, health insurance,
FICA
and Medicare FICA, unemployment compensation, workers compensation, income
continuation insurance and life insurance. They should be used in all proposals
submitted
to extramural sponsors on or after the date this memo is received. Multiple
year proposals should include an estimated increase for future fringe
benefit costs.
Indirect Cost Rates
The Federal Department of Health and Human Services has accepted the UW
System's
proposed 2003 - 2007 fiscal year indirect cost reimbursement rates for the University
Cluster
and Centers. This includes UW-Platteville.
