	Attached are the 2013 Guidelines for the UW - Platteville Academic Staff Award for Excellence, Regents Academic Staff Excellence Awards, and Regents Academic Staff Program Excellence Award. Guidelines and forms will be posted at http://www.uwplatt.edu/asenate/
	Instructional and non-instructional academic staff members that hold appointments of 0.50 FTE or more and have a minimum of twelve months of continuous employment at UWP are eligible to be nominated or apply for the UW-Platteville Academic Staff Award for Excellence. Individuals holding faculty status, a faculty title or a classified title are not eligible for this campus award.
	On behalf of the Board of Regents, the UW System Administration's Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs invites each institution to submit one nomination for the 2013 Regents Academic Staff Excellence Award. The nominee should be a non-instructional academic staff member. He or she should provide essential services to the university while demonstrating excellence of performance, personal interaction, initiative and creativity, and outstanding achievement.
	On behalf of the Board of Regents, the UW System Administration's Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs invites each institution to submit one nomination for the 2013 Regents Academic Staff Program Excellence Award. The nomination should be for a non-instructional academic staff program. The program should provide essential services to the university while demonstrating excellence of performance, initiative and creativity and outstanding achievement.
	Nominations may come from a college, department or division. In addition, instructional and non-instructional academic staff, administrators and faculty may nominate individuals. Self nominations are also welcome.
	The nomination materials should be submitted electronically to Michelle Zasada, Chairperson, Academic Staff Award for Excellence Committee at zasada@uwplatt.edu. Submission Deadline is 5:00PM Friday, February 1st.
