NAMA

National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) is an exciting organization that offers the opportunity to be involved in marketing practices. Pioneer NAMA is a prestigious club that is open to all university students who are interested in marketing. Although marketing is the main focus of NAMA, we also emphasize career development and the professional skills needed in today's job market. Therefore, we work closely with Badger NAMA, Wisconsin's professional NAMA chapter.

In addition, we have many interesting and motivational events throughout the year. Some of these events include: the National Marketing Project (developing and presenting a marketing plan) annual pumpkin carving, bowling, professional state meetings, and the National Convention. Professional speakers are invited to many meetings. Their presentations range from their job descriptions to interviewing tips to personal motivation. Through these events, students have better exposure to possible future careers.

Our Pioneer NAMA Chapter is affiliated with Wisconsin's Badger NAMA group which consists of professional business people. Badger NAMA offers scholarships to members each semester, and Pioneer NAMA members are invited to the monthly Badger NAMA meetings. Through these meetings, students are able to make contacts with the professional members for future job references.
