FarmHouse is a fraternity dedicated to the building of men. It is a college home where a man can be creative, share responsibility, make lasting friendships and learn the essence of brotherhood. Along with FarmHouse striving for excellence in scholarship, members learn important social skills and are involved in our campus environment.
The UW-Platteville FarmHouse Fraternity strives for these goals and more. Platteville's FarmHouse was activated on April 15, 1989, becoming one of the many FarmHouse Chapters across the nation.
FarmHouse at UW-Platteville has participated in campus events such as Homecoming, intramurals, and bingo with senior citizens. We travel to Regional Leadership workshops and to other FarmHouse chapters.
In pledging FarmHouse, pledges become familiar with the goals, objectives and history of FarmHouse. They learn about the local chapter's customs and develop friendships with their fellow pledges. FarmHouse does not believe in hazing.
