The Block & Bridle is an organization for students with a passion for livestock. We are an active group and are involved in many activities throughout the year. Some of these include:
- Sponsor and coordinate a high school livestock contest in the fall.
- Assist with the FFA Judging Contest held at UW-Platteville in the spring (Skills Day).
- Work with and show livestock from the UWP Farm.
- Coordinate Beef, Hog and Lamb Jackpot Shows.
- Annual trips to points of interest including national livestock shows, businesses, and various livestock enterprises.
- Our meetings are the lst and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 5:30 in Room 118 Russell
