Alpha Zeta, a National Agricultural Honor Fraternity, is made up of men and women majoring in an agriculture discipline. The emblems shall be a pin and a key. Our objectives are to foster high standards of scholarship, leadership, character and fellowship; to strive for breadth of vision, unity of action and accomplishment of ideals; and to promote the profession of agriculture. An invitation is sent to prospective members at the beginning of each semester. The prospective members must rank in the upper 40 percent of his or her class and have demonstrated a desire and a capacity to contribute to the campus community. We have one business meeting a month and one informal/community service meeting every month. For more information, call Dr. James Hampton at 608.342.1754 or email at hamptonjam@uwplatt.edu.
