The Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity is a national social/professional fraternity that is open to all men studying in the field of agriculture. Our house, which can accommodate 24 men, is located four blocks from campus at 845 W. Madison Street and underwent renovation during the summer of 2010. Some of the conveniences include a part-time cook, study areas and large and outdoor common areas for brothers to use. Our Brotherhood program allows a person to join at their convenience anytime throughout the semester. The Brotherhood program gives the members an opportunity to learn the history of our organization at their own pace. Alpha Gamma Rho is involved in many activities on campus and throughout the community. Some of the activities include intramural sports, homecoming activities, Adopt-A-Highway, Founders Day and Ag Fest. Many members are also involved in many other clubs and organizations. Alpha Gamma Rho is an organization that can provide a home away from home for students, and can help improve member's leadership and communication skills. However, the most important benefit of being a member is the long lasting fellowship with people with similar interests. Our advisor is Mr. David Heimerdinger (608-342-1380). For more information, feel free to stop by the house.
