The Agricultural Mechanization Club welcomes students who enjoy or are interested in mechanical areas in agriculture. Any student with such an interest is encouraged to join the Agricultural Mechanization Club. Dues are reasonable and allow the members to attend an annual club grill out.

The Agricultural Mechanization Club meets every week on Wednesdays to conduct business and work on the club’s quarter scale tractor project.

The club competes annually in the quarter scale tractor pull held in June in Peoria, Illinois. Several universities in the U.S. and Canada compete in this event. The club also plans educational trips to agricultural companies to learn about innovations in agricultural mechanization.

If you are interested in joining the Ag Mech Club, visit UWPLink at uwplatt.collegiatelink.net or contact the Ag Mech Club advisor, Dr. Mark Zidon at 608-342-1391 or zidon@uwplatt.edu
