Rationale: The program in Television and Video Production at Milwaukee Area Technical College prepares individuals for opportunities in hte production and programming areas of broadcast television, cable, or corporate and commercial video. A wide range of businesses use people trained in telecasting to staff their production, programming, and audiovisual departments.
  The purpose of the Broadcasting Technology Management program at UW-Platteville campus is to educate individuals interested in entering such electronic media fields as: radio, television, cable communication, corporate teleproduction, and multimedia. Course sequences are available in advertising/sales, production and performance, and engineering operations.
