Rationale:

This agreement is based upon examination of MATC course syllabi by UW-Platteville faculty, on site visitation at MATC of biotechnology facilities by UW-Platteville faculty and joint discussion between MATC biotechnology faculty and UW-Platteville biotechnology faculty. The out-come of these assessments by UW-Platteville faculty was very favorable and resulted in the recommendation to UW-System to develop an articulation agreement between UW-Platteville and MATC.

Additional Information

In order for these courses to transfer, the student must have completed the courses no earlier than the 1973-74 academic year with a grade of "C" or better.
This list replaces any previously approved list.
If the student changes from the Biotechnology minor or transfers to another UW campus, these professional/ vocational courses may not necessarily transfer.
Effective Date: This agreement was created June 1, 1993, and was revised August 23, 2000. The agreement covers courses which have been previously approved by the UW-System.

Definition

Program-to-program transfer courses/credits are accepted only for the program/degree specified in this agreement. A change of major/degree/program invalidates these courses/credits for transfer unless they are approved within some other program-to-program Articulation Agreement for a different major/degree/program at UW-Platteville.
