Rationale:

The Printing and Publishing program at Fox Valley Area Technical College is designed to provide students with the broad technical competence needed in the graphic arts industry.

The purpose of the Communication Technologies Management program at UW-Platteville is to educate individuals for employment in a variety of communication careers, and to prepare them to manage resources and initiate change for the improvement of conditions in their profession and society. Experiences are structured to develop the creative, technical, analytical, and managerial abilities of enrolled students. Course sequences are focused in printing, publishing, photography, telecommunication, and other related communication technologies.

Additional Information

In order for these courses to transfer, the student must have completed the courses no earlier than the 1973-74 academic year with a grade of "C" or better.
The maximum number of professional/vocational credits that will transfer is 25.
Effective Date: This agreement was created June 1, 1993, and revised December 1, 1996. The agreement covers courses which have been previously approved by the UW-System.

Definition:

Program-to-program transfer courses/credits are accepted only for the program/degree specified in this agreement. A change of major/degree/program invalidates these courses/credits for transfer unless they are approved within some other program-to-program Articulation Agreement for a different major/degree/program at UW-Platteville.
