Transferring Your Permit

You may transfer your parking permit to another individual.  The instructions and requirements are below.

  1. This process can only be completed at the University Police Department
  2. Call the office a couple of days before you plan on stopping in to insure the Office Administration is available to assist you in this process
  3. The owner of the permit and the individual you are transferring the permit to must be present at the time of this transfer
  4. There is a processing fee to transfer your permit to another individual
  5. You will need to bring the fee amount with you in cash or check.  Call the office for the current fee
  6. You both will need your Student or Staff/Faculty University ID
  7. You may only transfer your staff permit to another staff/faculty
  8. You may only transfer your student permit to another current student
  9. **A permit may only be transferred once.**
  10. Allow 20-30 minutes to complete this process
  11. The staff or student receiving the permit will be instructed, at the time of the transfer, on how to place an order to obtain this transferred permit
