UW-Platteville has contracted with e2Campus to provide a text messaging notification system for users. Enrollment in Pioneer Alerts is optional. Students and employees of UW-Platteville may register up to two cell phones for text message notifications. Participants will receive text messages from Pioneer Alerts and will be billed as for other text messages.
Pioneer Alerts will be available in February 2009 and tested during the Spring 2009 semester. UW-Platteville will test the Pioneer Alerts system at least once a month during the Spring 2009 semester.
