Anticipated positions for part-time instructors (lecturers) in criminal justice, counselor education, physical education, teacher education, art, music, speech, theatre, English, foreign languages, philosophy, psychology, economics, geography/geology, history, political science, sociology, ethnic studies, women's studies.
Applicants may submit application materials at any time. A file for each applicant will be maintained in the College office. When a part-time teaching position opens, applicants with expertise in the appropriate field(s) will be considered from the collected pool of applicants. Applicants may renew or update their application materials at any time. Applications will be kept for two years following first submission, renewal, or updating.
Teach undergraduate course(s) on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus, maintain office hours on-campus as directed, and perform other duties related to the teaching assignment as assigned.
Positions require a master’s degree in the respective field or a field closely related to the courses(s) the successful applicant will teach.
All positions require excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to teach the needed course(s), and a demonstrated commitment to or experience with racially diverse populations.
Dependent on qualifications and the number of credit hours taught.
Employment will require a criminal background check.
