This is a limited term employment (LTE) position; approximately 20 hours/week, 1,043 hours annually (from start date). |
- Delivery:
- Fill and deliver orders for all Dining Services locations
- Verify accuracy of storeroom requisitions and transfers
- Deliver commissary bakery, salads, catering, soup and BFF to appropriate locations
- Transport funds to and from Auxiliary Services, Platters, Greenwood Avenue Market and Kristine's Kafe
- Transports mail, invoices, documents and other miscellaneous between departments and buildings
- Check in Deliveries:
- Receive and verify incoming goods for quality
- Examine incoming goods for correct quantity using invoice
- Practice first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory method
- Monitor shortage of products in store room
- Observe received, used by and expiration dates
- Mark dates of delivery on all items received
- Stock shelves and appropriate storage spaces with new incoming product and supplies
- Communicate any inaccuracies with management, Storekeeper and delivery person
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area:
- Train students on proper operation of delivery truck and lift
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Use sanitation guidelines when delivering food for consumption
- Perform job tasks using safety guidelines
- Monitor storage area temperatures
- Fill in for Storekeeper when absent:
- Fill in for Storekeeper when absent
- Assist with other duties as assigned:
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Assist with special events as needed
