The University of Wisconsin - Platteville, located in southwest Wisconsin, is recruiting to fill a Food Retail/Catering Leader 1 in our new Greenwood Avenue Market. This position will work 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Job Duties:
This position coordinates and participates in the preparation and serving of the Greenwood Avenue Market; monitors the attractiveness & freshness of foods displayed and served; monitors the shelf life of prepackaged items; independently responds to customer requests and concerns and ensures appropriate standards of customer service achieved; trains and supervises student staff and performs administrative responsibilities associated with the Greenwood Avenue Market.

Special Notes:
In compliance with the Clery Act of 1998, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Crime Statistics Report is available. Call the UW-Platteville Campus Police Office at 608-342-1584 for a paper copy of the annual report.

Employment will require a criminal background check.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of inventory control, food production, supervision, cash balancing, daily service records,food safety and sanitation.
