Project Manager

Job Details:
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is hiring a full-time, 12 month academic staff member to provide leadership in the development and implementation of a Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE). This position will report to the Director of the PMCOE. The position is an annual appointment beginning December 1, 2013, or as soon as possible.

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in project management, business, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 4 years work experience in project management.
  3. Knowledge/experience with a variety of project management tools and techniques.
  4. Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  1. Project Management certification.
  2. Experience leading successful teams.
  3. Knowledge/experience of project management software.

The individual hired into this position will be responsible for working with various groups and offices across campus to implement projects on time, within scope, and under budget. This individual will work with a variety of faculty, staff, and students to accomplish the variety of tasks that are associated with this position:
