·         The most articulated value in Greek culture is areté. Translated as "virtue," the word actually means something closer to "being the best you can be," or "reaching your highest human potential." (http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~dee/GLOSSARY/ARETE.HTM)

Just a little information about our club:

We do not have any set time for our club so we can remain a free organization on campus.

If we set a time we would have to pay (a lifeguard, and a supervisor both special pay rate) to swim, which we don’t want to do unless we have to.

On a typical day you may see two or three members from the club swim together usually at night.

Our yahoo group email list is there to email the members if you are looking for a swim buddy or you have information for the whole group.

You can swim during open swim on Mon., Wed., and Fri. from 7-9pm

(You are not limited to this time please see the www.uwplatt.edu/PAC Website and click the link to the weekly schedule to see what time the pool is open.)

UW-P pool (25 yards, 6 lane, 12 feet deep)

Thank you for visiting our web site we hope you will join our club and swim with us.

As our club grows we hope to do more and more.
