Minutes for October 5, 2000

The meeting was called to order at 4:03PM by President Mark Broker.

1. Announcements
	A. WAPT Wisconsin Association of Physics Teachers is October 27
		in River Falls. This is for High School and College 
		Physics Teachers, students are encouraged to present.
	B. Schedules Lucas needs to know whom he can draft for his shows

2. Approval of Minutes from September 21
	edit the name of the Phunshop

3. Treasurers Report
        No change.

4. Committee Reports
	A. Physics is Phantastic 
		Hazel Green on Tue the 10
	B. Colloquium 
		Hamilton's session on his new polymer was great
	C. Trip Social
		Caving in Madocada was cold and wet. Went wading in corn and
			water. 
	D. Bulletin Board 
		Problems getting paper
	F. Additional committees
		1. The Physics is Phantastic Phunshop 
			Planned to be held on Nov 11, so keep your calendars
				clear. 
		2. Exam Book 
			Stuck trying to get answers.
		3. Research Projects
			St.John, Hamilton and Eversen have projects to be done.
				Geoff is collecting a list of projects.
5. Service Job
	The demo room behind 222 should be organized before ABET comes on oct
		23th.

6. Canoes 

	Amy and Jessica volunteered to cain the seats. Only trim work and
		fix-ups left.

7. Other
	Trip to Argonne National Lab on the 21st.
