Minutes of March 25, 1999 Meeting

The meeting was called to order by President Erin Jo Rischette at 4:08 PM.

1. Announcements
	-NO announcements today!

2. The minutes of 03/04/99 were approved as written.

3. We had $150 from Edward Jones and it was reinvested and were close back to
where our original investment was although no one at the meeting knows exactly
what that was.

4. Committee Reports
	- Physics is Phantastic: Went to Argyle, very responsive 
	  group, 4 people went and helped out.
	- Colloquium: Jim Hamilton was suggested as a colloquium 
	  presenter to give a walking colloquium of the labs 
	  upstairs and to discuss current undergrad research.
	- Trip/Social: See calendar on bulletin board, note caving
	  in Maquoketa this Saturday - leaving at 9AM (03/27/99)
	  Canoes were looked at to see if they could be patched.  
	  Aaron motioned to get all cones fixed @ $25/patch.  Mark
	  Bertolasi 2nd the motion.  The motion was passed.
	  Movie night Friday night.
	  Canoeing April 17th and May 1st.
	  Stargazing April 30th. 
	  Spring Social April 23rd.  
	- Bulletin Board: Get pictures up!
	- Zone Meeting: Passed around paper for people to sign up 
	  for zone meeting.  Some papers will be entered for Saturday
	  morning.  Things are going well.

Aaron is happy that there isn't Diet Barqs - REGULAR!!

5. EXPO is tomorrow - March 26th!  Meetin tonight at 6:00PM to set up for EXPO. 
Sign up sheet passed around again to get more people to help.  Mark Bertolasi
will have his hot wheel and standing wave pipe going in room 205.  Come by!

6. Dairy Days: September 10 - 12, 1999.  We will have a booth.

7. Spring Zone Meeting: SPSer's should attend.  High schools will be invited
also.

Next Meeting will be April 15th!  (Only one in April)

	NOTE: This election is a trickle-down election.  Each person 
	not elected for an office will be asked as to whether or not 
	he/she would like to be considered for election to next 
	office on which to be voted.
