Minutes for March 22, 2001

The meeting was called to order at 4:02PM by President Mark Broker.

1. Announcements
      	Special Zone meeting next week Thurs at 4 pm

2. Approval of Minutes from March 1
	change date, and Evensen
					
3. Treasurers Report
       	 $45.64 got a $300 check for Marsh White and $500 check for the Zone
		meeting

4. Committee Reports
	A. Physics is Phantastic 
		Show next Thur Noon-1 for John Deere
	B. Colloquium 
		Evensen will be speaking the 2nd Thurs in April
	C. Trip Social 
		March 23rd Star Gazing - 7:30 4th floor Otts
 		March 31st Expo, Zone, Canoe trip - rain or shine
		April 7th Power Plant - yet to decide between two plants
		April 21st  Caving
		April 27th Spring Social 
		Cris and Geoff are going to work on some kind of trivial
			pursuit.
	D. Bulletin Board 
		Going strait to rabbits in April want something about
			graduating EPs
	F. Additional committees
		1. Exam Book 
			Physics I is done
			Physics II needs answers for Evensen and St.John

5.  Circuit Component Sale 
	Components are separated and priced, legalities still need checking
		into.
		
6. Zone Meeting 
	Fri - Check-in from 4-6 in Otts, dinner at 6 in LaCafe, 7:30 is Dr.
		Joung.
		Sat - 7:30 Breakfast, Little Theater Presentations 8-12, Lunch
at Driving Range, Canoe and Caving rain or shine
	SPS and EP people who help are free
	Campus Publicity is needed for the SAB Funding
	20-30 people are signed up so far.
	
7. Expo
	It is March 30th. The physics is Phantastic Exploritorium.
	The EP canon shoot will be from 9-1 and will need volunteers to help
	Greg L is doing the CO2 laser.
	The robot arm and Tesla coil are going to be shown. 
	Hoping to get the dewer for the show

8. Other 
	Canoes - One more coat of varnish needed, need to sell 175 more raffle
		tickets.
	Raffle is $20 per ticket with a maximum of 200 tickets sold.
	Going to have booth in Dicks on April 21st
