Minutes of March 4, 1999 Meeting

The meeting was called to order by President Erin Rischette at 4:03PM.

1.  Announcements
 - Next Meeting MARCH 25!

2.  The Minutes of 2/18/99 were approved as written.

3.  Treasurer/VP Mark Bertolasi gave a report!

4.  Committee Reports
	Physics is Phantastic
		Thursday, March 11 in Argyle, "School to Work Week" at 11AM
	Colloquim - Phil Sealy, today at 4:30PM.  Drs. Domann and Hensley in
		future.
	Trip/Social -
		Chicago Museum of Science and Industry
			Mark Broker and Jason Fingerson reported it was fun.  
			Seven people attended.
		UW-Madison Physics Presentaions and Tours
			Eric Lockman reported.  Three people attended.
		Titanic trip - Exhibition in St. Paul, MN.  Tickets are $14, 
			however may take in a museum or two.  A possibility?
		Spring Social - April 23 with a rain date of April 30.
		Canoe/Cave - need to set dates
			Canoes - free estimate from local autobody.
				Social and Exec committees will have authority.
                        Caving - several options - dates wil be picked
		Volleyball - team in CJ hosted tournament
	Bulletin Board - Calendar being updated.
	SPS Zone Meeting Spring 99 - 
		Web pages up, $5 for our members.

5.  EXPO '99
	A sign up was passed around to "man" the Physics Exploratorium for
	Expo.

6.  Dairy Days 1999
	College organizations have been asked to participate alreay.

7.  Other
	Dr. Domann is retiring.  We will be getting him a plaque for his many
	years as SPS advisor.

Aaron Wilson motioned to adjourn the meeting.  Brian Rach seconded.  The 
meeting was adjourned, by consent, at 4:30PM.
